- I did one recording recently (which took a while of tweaking with the wires, to actually get a signal), and after that, it completely died.
- This is not a durable cable, and cannot even take the slightest abuse.
I've been using my mic cable for a few years now and it's still working.
However, it's not giving me the quality I look for when I do my recordings.
- If I'm using it in a situation where it's not turned up much or where soft imperfections will be covered up, it's okay.
- But when used in the studio, the plugs need to be in a specific spot for them to not give me a loud hum.
- So if money's an issue, these will work fine.
- If you're looking for quality, look elsewhere.
